That would mean the controller could function like a PC mouse, offering a new method to play Switch 2 games. Supposedly, shipping data for Switch 2 also points to mouse-like functionality, per another Reddit post.

If true, Switch 2 wouldn’t be the first gaming handheld to offer mouse-like features built into the device. The Lenovo Legion Go has detachable controllers like the Switch, with the right gamepad able to function like a mouse.
